WE ARE YOUR HELPING HAND...

VIVA (Volunteers In Victim Assistance) is a full service center for victims, witnesses, friends and family members who have experienced a Violent Crime or Trauma.

VIVA serves Sacramento, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer and Yolo counties with a statewide Crisis Response Team.

Victim Advocates and Counselors provide crisis intervention, and follow-up victim services. Volunteer training and internships are available.

SPECIAL VICTIM RECOVERY PROJECT
VIVA's Special Victim Recovery Project provides crisis intervention,
follow-up counseling, individual and family therapy,support groups,
hospital visitation, personal and criminal justice advocacy, to assist
victims in their struggle to move from Victim to Survivor.

PROJECT HANDS ON
VIVA’s Project Hands On is a post-trauma expressive arts therapy
program providing art therapy, play therapy & sandtray therapy for
children & adolescent victims and their families. Certified parent
education classes are also provided.

MEMORIAL WALL
The Volunteers In Victim Assistance Memorial Wall is dedicated
to all those who have lost their life to sudden death (homicide, motor
vehicle fatalities, suicide & injury related deaths). If you would like
